We all have our favourite actors for various reasons and my favourite actor is Christian Slater. He is, in my opinion, one of the most talented actors working today. I think in the next year or so people are really going to sit up and take notice of this brilliant young actor. I say young, but he has been in the "business" for most of his life and has well and truly served his "apprenticeship". He has made quite a few good movies and some not so good, but as we all know, a bad script, director etc can make the best of actors look inadequate.

Who could forget his roles in Heathers and Pump up the Volume which both became "cult movies". His other more memorable roles include "The Name of The Rose", (when he was only sixteen), Kuffs, (ok, not well received, but I liked it!) True Romance, Interview with the Vampire (only a small role, but nevertheless well played) and Murder in the First. I also really enjoyed Bed of Roses (so romantic) and Broken Arrow (what a great action movie!!)

The reason for creating this Web Site is to provide information on Christian Slater and his work. This site can also be a forum where I (and others if they wish) can show my appreciation for a fine actor who has made my movie-going experience even more interesting as a result of his fine talent. As we all know opinions are opinions and I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but this site is not being created for the purpose of arguing a point.

I will include his filmography (compiled from various sources) and will hopefully be able to keep you updated with his current projects. I may need some help in this department. Anyone who wishes to contribute current information is welcome and will be accredited accordingly.
